Mike Hatch!? Mike will be our special guest of honor at a Hatch/Dutcher
house party hosted by Sen. Sandy Pappas at her home on the West Side.
All are welcome to join us at Sandy's home, located at 182 Prospect Blvd.
(don't get confused by the address - it's actually at the corner of Bellows
and Isabel, right next to Prospect Park on the edge of the bluff).? The
party starts at 6:30 until 8 pm.
Voluntary donations accepted at the door.
It's going to be a great event for Senate District 65 and the entire DFL,
so please come!

3) Precinct Chair training - Wednesday 8/23
This year is going to be a great year for the DFL across Minnesota, but
we need your help to win!??The way our entire statewide ticket - from Amy
Klobuchar and Mike Hatch on down to our county commissioners - is going
to win by is turning out every last Democratic vote in our very Democratic
precincts.??And the surest way to succeed at this is by talking directly
to our neighbors.
You're invited to a fun and informative training about how to do precinct-level
voter contact, persuasion and turnout in Senate District 65.??The details:
Date: Wednesday, August 23rd
Time: 7:00-9:00
Location: State DFL headquarters, 255 E. Plato Blvd. (just west of Hwy.
52)
We will learn how to target the voters we want to contact and practice
different one-on-one persuasion techniques.??We'll also brainstorm other
fun ideas for precinct- and neighborhood-level activities.
This training will be key in our efforts to win this year, so whether
you're a first-time chair or an old hand, we'd like everyone to be there.??We
all have a lot to learn from each other no matter who we are.
It'll be a great feeling on the evening of Tuesday, November 7 when you
get the results from your home precinct and know that your efforts paid
off when we win It's very gratifying.
If you're receiving this message but you're not a precinct chair or associate
chair, we still want you to come because we need every single dedicated,
talented SD65 activist to pitch in! Working your precinct is a big job,
and the precinct chairs and associate chairs can't do it all alone.
We really look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, August 23!

Sandy, but to turn out as many Democrats in November as we can!
